If you do not have hurricane rated impact windows or hurricane shutters, you may want to protect your home's windows with plywood or metal shutters however, you want to make sure you get the material you need to do this way ahead of a Hurricane landfall as these items are usually the first items to sell out of stores when a hurricane is being tracked.
