Panthers Review
WOW! What a weekend! Our Team from Storm Tight Windows was all over the moon after witnessing two incredible wins from our Florida Panthers. The cats managed to win back-to-back games, one against the Columbus Blue Jackets and the other win over the San Jose Sharks. If you didn’t get the chance to watch these games, don’t worry, this week is loaded with action at the BB&T Center with three home games starting tonight at 7:00 PM against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
One of the keys to success for the Panthers’ in these victories has been the incredible defensive play and their goalkeeper’s performance, Sergei Bobrovsky. Coach Quenneville was clearly happy with Bobrovsky’s performance over the past two games affirming that his goalkeeper “was in control” and helped boost confidence in the team helping in the wins.
The cats will face some difficult opponents this week including the Tampa Bay Lightning who have won the Atlantic Division in the past. On Thursday, the Florida Panthers will take on the New York Islanders hoping to improve upon the previous two losses against NY. Saturday, the Cats will face the Boston Bruins who have proven to be one of the toughest teams in the NHL this year. Last time if you remember correctly when the Panthers faced the Bruins they came back from a 4-0 deficit in the third period and won in a shootout, 5-4. These tough games and wins will certainly give the Cats enough confidence to know they can beat them again.
