Storm Tight Windows is headed to the Garlic Festival this Weekend!

The Storm Tight Windows crew is very excited to be the official sponsor of South Florida’s Garlic Festival in Lakeworth, Florida. The best stinkin’ party in South Florida begins this weekend and our Storm Tight Windows crew is ready for it! The event begins this Saturday at 10:00 am -11:00 pm, and will go on until Sunday, February 9th from 10:00 am- 6:00 pm.

The location for the event is John Prince Park, Lakeworth Beach. You can take advantage of the Tri-Rail and pay $5 to ride all day long, back and forth. Make sure you take the “Lake Worth” exit for Garlic Fest. If you choose to drive to the event, keep in mind that parking is $10 with FREE shuttle to the event entrance. What's happening at the Garlic Festival?

If you are one of the few people that has never been to a Garlic Festival, you are in for a TREAT. First, as you can imagine the main attraction for this event is garlic. The festival will include a broad variety of gourmet food exhibitions and over 100 garlic-laced items. The Garlic Festival is equally famous for its signature dishes including shrimp scampi, garlic crab cakes, garlic bruschetta, garlic pizza, garlic Portobello sandwiches, and guess what? Garlic Ice Cream!

This festival is not only about garlic food but also about bringing the family together for a great time. For over twenty years the festival organizers have come up with various activities for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Apart from the festival traditional rides, make sure you check out the Artist Row where attendees get to interact with the local artists in different exhibits; these exhibitions include Graffiti Art, Henna Art, Mural Painting, chalk Art, Recycle Art, Street Painting and children crafts.

You can also check out the Garlic University area where guests are invited to paint small pots and planting seeds to take home and grow. There are FREE activities schedules both Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5:00 pm at the Garlic University, make sure you find out what they are!

Wait! There is more! Talented bands will perform at the Garlic Festival, both Saturday and Sunday, starting around noon until the end of each day. One of the artists performing this weekend includes the legendary reggae band of all times, The Wailers, who will play from 9:00 pm until 10:30 pm on Saturday.
