Storm Tight Windows at the Boca Palace Movie Theater

If you are a movies fan, you know the holiday season is an exciting time to hit the movie theaters. This season in particular, especially because there are so many long-awaited movies released in between Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends. Our team at Storm Tight Windows is looking forward to watching all the special Christmas movies to get in the Holiday Spirit. This year the crowd's most anticipated movies, Frozen 2 and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are due out.

Frozen 2

Frozen 2 was released on November 22nd, 2019 collecting around $126 Millions and a Holiday Record for Thanksgiving weekend. Frozen 2 is the sequel for Frozen which was originally released in 2013. The story begins with two sisters, Princess Elsa of Arendelle, who can magically control ice and snow, and Princess Anna, Elsa’s younger sister. Their parents forced the sisters to remain isolated from each other because they feared Elsa’s unpredictable powers would pose a threat to Anna and others.

After Princess Elsa turned 21, she became Queen of Arendelle but shortly after unleashed her powers due to a series of events that left their entire kingdom trapped in eternal winter. As a result, Princess Anna started a quest to find her sister Elsa and ask her to stop the endless winter.  Princess Anna is accompanied by Kristoff (local mountaineer) and Olaf (snowman)on her journey to find her sister who later become important characters to the story. At the end of movie, Elsa realizes that love is the main source of her powers and she decides to end the harsh winter.

Frozen 2 focuses on Elsa’s background and where her powers come from? Why was Elsa born with the power to control ice and snow? Well, we won't give any spoilers here so, GO watch the movie if you haven’t already.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The second long-awaited release of this holiday movie season is the new episode in one of the greatest and most popular movies franchises of all time, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. This movie has not only impacted older generations but also has brought younger generations to the theaters and share the same passion for Star Wars and its characters. Most Star Wars fans have already purchased their tickets in advance of its release on December 19th, 2019.

Disney Screens Star Wars For An Ill Fan

The Marketing Team from Storm Tight Windows would like to acknowledge an important moment in history for Disney and the entire Star Wars community. In the past, Disney has allowed sick “Star Wars” fans to screen new movies before they are released to the public. This year, Bob Iger, Disney’s current chairman, and CEO allowed the studio to screen Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to a terminally ill Star Wars fan in Hampshire, England. Iger shared on social media that Disney was beyond grateful to share this gift with special fans and then finally added “May the force be with you and with us all”. The English fan has been a long-time Star Wars fanatic and was very grateful to the Star Wars family who gave him this opportunity that he described as “he just won a million pounds”.
